So what is next for Hidden Harvest? Who is Hidden Harvest without Christy Porter at the head of the table. The shoes are big, and the hungry community is bigger. Fortunately, for those in need, Hidden Harvest is many things…

Hidden Harvest is senior citizens, facing the tough choice between essential medication and nutritious food, overjoyed to see the HH truck rolling in to give them free, fresh produce.

Hidden Harvest is volunteers who generously give their time to distribute fresh fruits and veggies at our markets, greeting clients with dignity and a smile.

Hidden Harvest is dedicated staff who tirelessly rescue produce from local packing houses to prevent wastage of perfectly nutritious produce.

Hidden Harvest is Small Farmers who are in need of stable income for their small operations, so they partner with HH to cultivate produce exclusively for our programs.

Hidden Harvest is passionate volunteers who are boots on the ground, securing funds, ensuring Small Farmers are compensated and the HH wheels keep turning to feed low-income seniors, and children and their families through distributions that include Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCAs.

Hidden Harvest is generous donors, like yourself who understand that giving to Hidden Harvest means giving free, fresh produce to the hungry in the Coachella Valley.

Without Christy Porter, Hidden Harvest wouldn’t exist, but thanks to Christy Porter, Hidden Harvest is all these things. All these things that ensure the legacy will continue.
